My first watercolor lacking my two tone visual signature. When i saw this in my mind i could have sworn i'd seen it somewhere else first but i looked everywhere i could think of and when i couldn't find anything that rung a bell i decided i had to make it myself. Unfortunately (for me, because i am likely the only one who cares) i couldn't incorporate my normal two tone subject style in this one without it rendering the image impossible to make sense of. So here is my addition to the watercolor world of normal portraits with fun uses of hair.
I like the idea and that you left the hair hanging down white and only painted in-between. You still read it as hair but it gives the painting a much more original look. Nice job!
Thank you! It was the weirdest thing with this one; i could have sworn i had seen this somewhere else and that i would be stealing the idea wholesale if i painted it, but i couldn't find it ANYWHERE
